James’ great grandfather John Sullivan, purchased Victoria’s oldest vineyard, Chateau Yering, in the Yarra Valley in 1934.
In 1986 the vines were replanted by James’ family and the historic property returned to it’s original name, Yering Station. Here began James’ passion for the Australian wine industry as a vineyard owner, wholesaler, and successful retailer whilst being a student of world renowned Roseworthy Campus at University of Adelaide.
James Dominguez Cellars was established in 1997 and is still a 100% independently owned wine merchant. James continues to personally identify extraordinary value as a pro-consumer purveyor of wine.
Regular wine offers will be available exclusively through James Dominguez Cellars via an email alert.
